All across America, family farms are suffering under circumstances out of their control. No one knows these hardships more than West Texas cotton farmers. Texas Snow tells the story of three farmers and their shared hardships harvesting one of the nation's natural fibers and wrestling with an unknown future.

When the time came to create a documentary film for a class, I knew exactly what I wanted to cover: the plight of the cotton farmer. I grew up as the daughter of a cotton farmer and have watched many highs and lows - most recently, a lot of lows. I wanted to share just a glimpse into what their lives are like and the troubles they face.

Three women challenge the notion of what it means to be an outdoors enthusiast. In a world that tells you you can't these three take and incredible journey across the Chihuahuan desert.

For the Texas Tech College of Media and Communication Adventure Media Course, my group and I made a documentary about myself the two other girls that went on this trip through Big Bend Ranch State Park's Epic Trail.
